MEET DR. SAM SULIMAN

Dr. Sam Suliman is a native of Stockton. He completed his Associate Degree at San Joaquin Delta College. Through his hard work, effort, and unconditional love and service to the Stockton community, he was awarded the Community Involvement Program (CIP) full-ride scholarship to the University of the Pacific (Go Tigers!). This once in a lifetime opportunity fueled Dr. Suliman’s ambition and in 2003 he received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry-Biology.

Dr. Suliman’s career was just beginning. The year following his graduation from college, he was accepted to the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2007. Dr. Suliman took his love for service to another level and commissioned into the United States Navy. He practiced dentistry for several years as a Navy dentist and he had the honor and privilege of serving with a Marine unit in Japan. He then returned home to complete his orthodontic residency training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He received his Masters of Dental Science degree and a certificate in the specialty of Orthodontics. He is a Diplomate of the prestigious American Board if Orthodontists.

The decision to return home and serve the Stockton community first as a citizen and second as an orthodontist was rather simple. Dr. Suliman is happily married to his beautiful wife Suzanne. They are blessed with two beautiful daughters named Layalina and Naya. In his spare time, Dr. Suliman enjoys spending time with family, snowboarding and traveling.

Dr. Suliman welcomes you to his private practice of orthodontics and he looks forward to bringing beautiful smiles to the very community that shone a smile on his life and career.
